Our Local Governance Arrangements
Here at East Park Academy, we are keen to ensure that the voices of parents/carers are heard and that parents/carers feel they can help shape the way our school supports and challenges our wonderful children.
East Park Academy is part of Manor Multi Academy Trust and the Directors of the Trust are keen to ensure that the local governance model is fit-for-purpose, and that it encourages parents/carers to have the confidence to put forward their views in a truly collaborative way.
Since September 2023, our School has operated a Parent and Community Advisory Forum (PCAF). The forum consists of up to eight core representatives, with a minimum of two being elected parents/carers of current children in school. Other PCAF representatives are from the local community and/or are have particular skills and experience to bring to the Forum depending on needs and priorities.
Following PCAF meetings, we will produce a “You said, we did” report on a termly basis which will be shared with all parents/carers, thus enabling parents/cares to more effectively hold us to account.
Directors of Manor MAT will continue to hold our school to account as well and further information about their work is available on the Manor MAT website.
